My name is Gretchen Christy, chairman of
the board of Undone Redone. We saw
in theaters last month when The Heart of Man premiered
on September 14th. How incredible it was to be presented with such a
beautiful and moving picture of our Father’s relentless love for us through
this anointed film!
And the great news is that it will be back in theaters tonight for an
encore event for 1 night only

The Heart of Man reminds us of the tireless pursuit
of the Father in the Gospel and is a sensory experience that helps these
truths make it to our hearts. Freedom from performance. Freedom from
managing our behavior so we appear acceptable to God. Freedom from our
shame, compulsive behaviors, secrecy and double lives. This film gently
portrays the true nature of God and His love and acceptance of us as we are
and enables us to invite the rest of the world to the party He is throwing
for all of us.
The Heart of Man also does a tremendous job of
exposing what I believe is the #1 tool that our enemy is using to hold
captive and destroy today’s family…shame.
Consider these
statistics…
- 11 is the average age of first exposure to Internet
pornography
- 93% of boys and 62% of girls are exposed to
Internet porn before the age of 18
- 80% of first-time exposure to pornography happens
in the home
- Two-thirds of all divorces in the last year were
due to Internet-related issues
These statistics
are staggering and represent the shame and secrecy that hold so many
captive.
While at times overwhelming, this darkness also makes the light of
God’s grace shine brighter.
Which is my
purpose in writing to you today. I need your help. Men, women and families
need your help.
Undone Redone,
through its recovery and prevention initiatives, has been on the front
lines of this important fight since 2009. Tray and Melody have worked
tirelessly to come alongside those who are in bondage to pornography, women
who have experienced the trauma of betrayal, couples who are trying to put
the pieces of their marriage back together, and parents who are trying to
protect their children from the harms of technology. We are seeing huge
victories each week as men, women, and entire families are being restored
and being released from this cloud of shame.
Undone Redone is
in extremely urgent need of financial resources to continue this important
work. Due to the movie, our organization has seen a tremendous increase in
the number of men, women, and families reaching out for help. However, our
funding has not increased by the same proportions.
Currently we need
$16,500 to be able to scale our efforts to reach more families with the
message of God’s grace and love for them.
