When is Wind too much...really?



The next time you think about only insuring for fire and going without the wind coverage, think again.  The below picture is what happens when bad storms come. This isn't a hurricane but merely a nice May storm.  With rates for property around $1 per hundred or less ($100,000 of wind Coverage for $1,000 Premium) you need to get some wind coverage before the Storm really hits.

This below picture is of an outside area of a commercial building that used to be roofed. 



All of the inventory got wet and ruined.  The insured had coverage so he is not out of $100's of Thousands of Dollars.
